Brixen, Italy, February 2, 2011. – Durst, the specialist in industrial inkjet applications, is expanding its presence in Spain. In addition to the LFP and textile segments, its Durst Iberica subsidiary, established in 2007, is now also taking over the sales, marketing and service structures for the ceramics market. The Ceramics Team, newly formed by Durst Iberica CEO Rafael Carbonell, is presenting itself and the Durst ceramics range at the Cevisama 2012 trade show in Valencia from February 7-10, 2012. Among the main exhibits will be the fastest single-pass printer for ceramic tiles, the Gamma 75 HD, and the Pictocer HD flatbed printer, which has been specially designed for high firing temperatures and small series. Both systems can use ceramic inks containing inorganic nano pigments manufactured by different ink and glaze producers, including Torrecid, Ferro and Esmalglass-Itaca. Further ink manufacturers, such as Colorobbia and Smalticeram, are undergoing the two-stage certification process and they will be added to the list shortly following successful field tests. Besides top quality and performance, Durst is focusing on optimal job processing at this year's trade fair. Montréal, (Québec) Canada.

The independent economic committee „Initiativen Wirtschaft für Kunst” [Business Initiatives for the Arts] this year awarded, for the 23rd time, together with the Austrian broadcasting company ORF and supported by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, the Austrian art sponsorship prize „MAECENAS 2011“ in the artistic and culinary ImperialKunstSalon [ImperialArtSalon] in the Imperial hotel in Vienna, Austria.
This year, 168 companies applied with 185 projects in total. The evaluation was performed exclusively according to quality, innovational strength and creativity criteria.
