Tau 150 8C - Digital UV Inkjet Narrow Web Label Press
Tau 150 8C is a Digital UV Inkjet Label Press designed for short-run narrow web applications covering web widths from 10 cm (4 in.) to a max. 16,5 cm (6.5 in.), reaching an outstanding printing speed of 48 m per min. (157 ft.) per min. resulting in substantially improved return on investment for the label printer.
Tau 150 8C is built to the latest state of the art digital UV Inkjet technology that can be configured with up to 8 dedicated color modules. The system guarantees maximum reliability and production efficiency, handling short run jobs from a few hundred labels up to more than 40.000 labels (close to 4.000 lin. meters/13.000 lin. feet) very economically, thus turning unprofitable short run jobs on conventional presses into profitable print jobs on Tau 150 8C digital UV inkjet label press.

• Tau 150 8C offers a whole range of color configurations to cover the majority of requested label printing applications.
• Its standard color configuration CMYK can be completed with Orange and Violet color thus offering up to 90% coverage of the Pantone color gamut.
• Extended range of applications thanks to White UV ink color, essential for applications on transparent substrates.
• Additionally, Tau 150 8C can be equipped with a Digital Varnish print module for digital spot varnish applications, generating different gloss levels with only one fluid in a single pass at the time of printing the label jobs.
• Printing speed at full color of 2880 lin. meter / 9432 lin. feet per hour
• High imaging quality thanks to Single Pass UV Inkjet printing technology with approx. 1000 dpi resolution, drop on demand + variable drop size 6-42 pl and grayscale technology.
