Durst invited to Brussels as the Tyrol–South Tyrol–Trentino Euroregion delegation to the EU representative body

Creating synergy for the economic and technological hub of Tyrol


Brixen, Italy - October 7th, 2015 – Durst, specialist in industrial inkjet applications, is an internationally active high-tech company with a presence on every continent. The company takes part in more than 20 trade shows around the world every year. In addition to showcasing its technology, Durst always strives to convey the company's identity, which is deeply rooted in the greater Tyrol area. This is expressed as tastings of local specialties, gifts indicative of the region and as a fundamental component of every one of the company's presentations. Tyrol is much more than just mountains and tourism. It's also a technology hub which is impressive on a global level and which is symbolized by Durst, with its main locations in Brixen and Lienz. During the LabelExpo 2015 trade show in Brussels, Durst seized the opportunity to invite its international customers to join it in representing the Tyrol–South Tyrol–Trentino Euroregion in Brussels. More than 70 participants from 20 countries took part in the evening event, which was commenced by Christoph Gamper, CEO of Durst Phototechnik AG, and Herbert Dorfmann, a member of the European parliament. Dorfmann, who is familiar with Durst's company history as the regional head of the South Tyrol People's Party in Eisacktal, praised the innovative ability of the company. He pointed out how, thanks to the company's development of digital printing technology, industrial production was brought back to our service-oriented economy and is thus creating real value once again. International guests were be impressed by the hospitality of the representative body and were able to take another facet of the greater Tyrol region home with them.
